WHO SPEAKS? RENEGOTIATING SOVEREIGN AND METAPHYSICAL DISCOURSES IN POLITICS AND LAW
Elisabetta R. Bertolino (Università degli Studi di Palermo)
Resumen: The article deals with the theme of the subject in politics and law, which is essentially also the theme of who speaks. A focus on the voice is regarded here as paramount. It is assumed that the current subject of politics and law is a cut subject, divested of the body and oneself, construed as a vertical, autonomous, independent and self-coherent individual who has no body but only righteous relations to the others and the community around. It is a subject that has been split and essentialised into sovereign and metaphysical ideas.
